The EU is silly.  After purging 30 years’ worth of nonsense, someone decided to just pick up where it left off assigning absurd backstories to background extras.  Non-descript doesn’t begin to describe this fellow.  He’s just a regular Bespin Guard.  But officially he’s a Balosar.  You don’t know what a Balosar is?  Well remember the excruciatingly bad “death sticks” scene in Attack of the Clones?  Yeah, that guy, whose name I refuse to use, was a Balosar.  So presumably under this guy’s cap there are two bad CGI antennae. 

It’s unfortunate that this guy has to suffer because of unnecessary character development, but here we are.
