This is Sergeant Doallyn, right? Once again, you are wrong. If you do a google image search for “Doallyn”, chances are you’re going to get plenty of images of the gray jump suited skiff guard. The character is actually Brock Starsher, which would also win an award for the “most deliberately made up sounding name”. Doallyn is the distinct dark jump suited character with a similar helmet that gets knocked down the stairs by Boushh. Note that at the time of this publication, Wookieepedia is showing an image of Brock Starsher on the Doallyn entry. Of course to add more confusion to the discussion, Hasbro made a Bane Malar figure despite the character not even making the final edit of Return of the Jedi.
For us, Starsher is a high priority figure for a couple of reasons. First,he looks cool. Second, we don’t have many figures form the second skiff at the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon. We need more. Right now, we only have the woefully outdated figures of Barada and Pote Snitkin, as well as the brilliant figure of Lathe, which was simply named “Nikto” on the card. Plus a Starsher figure would only need a repaint to become Doallyn so Hasbro could knock out two highly requested figures with one set of tooling. This is a no-brainer. Let’s git-r-done.
