Bewil was the imperial officer in charge of informing Lord Vader about how Luke Skywalker’s arrival was progressing. He may have had other duties, but his two most important moments were informing Lord Vader that Skywalker had entered the system, then informing Lord Vader that Skywalker had landed. It’s a nice job if you can get it.
Hasbro has made several attempts at Imperial officers with a mixed bag of results. Back in 2009, they finally seemed to get all the pieces in place and put out a very nice Captain Needa figure with adequate articulation and detail. Sure, his knees are a little swollen, and his hat’s a little bulky, but he’s the best they’ve got… sort of. This year’s Mosep Binneed at the very least fixed the leg issue. I know the torso doesn’t work, but it seems like a Hasbro has the parts for a better Imperial Officer. If they decide to make one, Bewil would be a decent choice, though I’m sure many fans would rather see them revisit some of the more prominent officers that they have botched in the past.
