Will Scotian can be seen leaning on an X-Wing gun during Leia’s briefing. It’s easy to be fooled into thinking he’s some sort of giant, towering over the other pilots as he does, but he’s actually standing on a crate. According to Legends sources, Scotian flew as Blue 3 during the Battle of Hoth, presumably in one of the X-Wings escorting transports past the Star Destroyer blockade. He apparently survived to play a supporting role in Shadows of the Empire as a member of Rogue Squadron, where he was first given a name.

Honestly, an 8-foot tall pilot would be way more interesting than this regular-sized dude. He is certainly visible on screen, which is more than we can say for some other pilots, but his relegation to X-Wing duty also hurts his appeal. Very few collectors are looking to complete their set of non-snowspeeder pilots.
