Trey Callum is notable as the first trench soldier to see and report the incoming AT-AT walkers. If only he had pronounced AT-AT out loud, he could have ended 40 years of debate about the proper way to say it (@-@, obviously). Anyway, Callum gets a couple of closeups intercut with some macro-binocular views and shots of other troops reacting to their oncoming deaths. Some later canon source eventually confirmed that he did not survive the battle.
I can’t say that Callum is important, in the traditional sense, but he’s certainly visible. In terms of outfit, he’s got the standard Hoth Trooper gear, going with goggles up and tan scarf around the neck. If any previous action figure version was based on him, the execution was poor enough that it would be impossible to say for sure. Either way, he’d make a pretty good generic trooper.
One more note: Trey Callum was played by ESB and ROTJ swordmsater (and Vader fight double) Bob Anderson.
