Tigran Jamiro was apparently the senior logistics office at Echo Base. His tasks included knowing who had come in the south entrance and whether or not they might have forgotten to check in. He was also an expert on how far a TaunTaun could travel in dropping temperatures before it would die. It’s unclear exactly how he gained that expertise.

Jamiro’s outfit is the standard “Deck Officer,” but unlike most, he does not have goggles on his hat. His scarf also does not visibly dangle giving him a somewhat unique look. While he’s no Bob Hudsol, it is also important to note his mustache here as another unique identifier.

As a point of interest, Jamiro has on occasion been mistaken for Bren Derlin in official sources. In truth the actor here, Ray Hassett, had previously been part of a comedy duo with Jon Ratzenberger called Sal’s Meat Market. Everything about that sounds amazing.
