You used to know this character by her alias Baniss Keeg.  Now this character is Chachi De Maal and one half of the famed 80’s sitcom Joanie Loves Chachi.  The Duros species was already tackled with the Fans’ Choice figure of Ellorrs Madak.  Being a Fans’ Choice figure it naturally sold terribly.  Hasbro seems reluctant to go back to a species regardless of how much variation there is in the characters (unless it’s a prune face).  That added with the poor sales of Madak might give them pause before tackling Chachi De Maal, but, as was mentioned with Rycar Ryjerd, getting companion pieces is a good reason to prioritize a figure. 

Ellors Madak is an alias.  The character’s name is Ohwun De Maal who is seen seated with his wife Chachi De Maal.  That’s a little creepy since they are identical twins, but I try not to judge.  It’s time to reunite these love birds and complete another scene in our cantina dioramas. 

Update: Since this was written, most of the Expanded Universe was relegated to “Legends” status, and the character’s canonical name is once again Baniss Keeg.
