It appears that Wave One-Pocalypse is winding down. It seems that the log jam of toxic wave one stock might be cleared, but that doesn’t mean you should have hope. It’s hopeless.
This was funny when it was happening to other people, but now that it’s hitting close to home, it’s no laughing matter.
We recently mentioned that the Vintage Collection is about to face its first real litmus test. I’m pleased to offer some empirical evidence of its pH balance.
We’ve had reports of members finding multiple fresh cases of Wave 1 at their local Walmart stores, and now thanks to our newest forum member, Agustin, we have photographic proof.

If things were anything like the old days, we wouldn’t need to ask #wheressolo. Since both TVC and Solo are sparsely populated with product in 2018, we are left wondering, for the 4th straight film, where are all the characters?
I haven’t seen a one time stocking like this since the good old days. I think this is what the American Pickers call a “honey hole”.
We don’t really know what to make of the Vintage Collection’s latest iteration yet. We’re about to find out.
Time has expired, and we’ve reached the conclusion of our retrospective of the first 115 carded figures of The Vintage Collection. We caught up with Coach Belichick as the teams headed off the field, and he angrily mumbled something about needing to score more points and play defense.
Our second look at the first iteration of The Vintage Collection comes to a close tomorrow. While there wasn’t a lot of thought put into the order in which we would review each figure, a lot of thought was put into which figure would close out the retrospective.
Like many of you, hunting brick and mortar is part of the collecting experience for me even when I’ve sourced my figures from e-tail. I like to keep an eye on what’s going on at traditional retailers, and what I see has me encouraged.
