Here’s a quick update for a very welcome running change to the VC41 Stormtrooper. Some missing paint apps have been restored and the aesthetic of the NOW WHITE helmet has been improved.

According to the super news breaker, we can expect to see a Luke with Tauntaun, and a Landspeeder coming soon. In his words, these new items hit Deutschland in August. It’s tough to predict what that means for the States as Europe sometimes gets the items first (particularly with exclusives), but with a media blitz coming for the Blu-ray set, the timing seems about right.
Note: It is not known if these will be new tools or just a re-release of existing items. We will update if more information comes along.

The contents of the highly anticipated Complete Saga Blu-ray boxed set have been announced.
The official site sends an announcement that on the official Star Wars holiday, May the 4th, all of the contents of the upcoming Blu-ray discs will be revealed.

Famed insider, VolckerC, posted this bit of information about Target 3-packs on the German Star Wars site Light Speed.com:
In addition to wave 1 of the three packs that we already know about, he listed that a second wave was coming, but did not reveal the contents (even when pressed), and further revealed that a third wave is being planned.
If Hasbro keeps releasing three packs that have vintage analogs, the contents should be easy to deduce.
VolckerC, who knew of the Rise of Boba Fett UBP in advance, also said that there is more TVC product to be revealed for this year. Can’t wait for SDCC.

The new $9 price point seems to be increasing the amount of figure swapping going on. At least this swapper went the extra mile and delivered something creative. It’s practically folk art. Click the thumbnail for the full image.

While checking the toy aisles for new “Star Wars” figures, I ran across the new “Thor” movie figures jammed between The Vintage Collection and The Clone Wars. Okay, so shelf-stockers aren’t rocket scientists, I get it. The thing is, the figures themselves were just so much “been there, done that.” In fact, “JUST been there and done that,” as the hordes of “Iron Man 2” figures still rotting on the pegs bear silent witness to. And, really, “Thor” isn’t the hot property that Iron Man is. With the “Captain America: The First Avenger” movie toys also due to hit stores soon, I can see “Thor” pegwarming whlle “Captain America” does fairly well.
