Jedi Temple Archives recently reported that the trays of some HASCON Captain Rex figures look like they are melting. The plastic tray is shrunken and deformed. A lot of fans were probably unconcerned about the issue since it only impacted a convention exclusive.
Unfortunately, the issue of shrinking and "melting" packaging isn't contained to just the HASCON Captain Rex. We have received a report from an online retailer who encountered a case of The Last Jedi orange series wave 1 figures where every single bubble was severely deformed. The bubbles all have the same shrunken and melted appearance as you can see below. The retailer said that this only happened to one case out of a shipment of 50. It seems like this might by an occasional issue going forward. This could be 2017's version of bubble failure from Black Series Phase I.
