Going over the biography of Wedge Antilles seems as unnecessary as reviewing the accomplishments of Luke Skywalker.  As the most prominent non-force enabled starfighter pilot in the galaxy, his status within the Star Wars universe is legendary.  Because Grand Admiral Thrawn is constantly one step ahead of the New Republic for most of the trilogy, Wedge and Rogue Squadron are constantly pressed into emergency combat action forcing them to call on every trick in the pilot’s handbook.  In one of the more dramatic space battles, Wedge coordinates with Bel Iblis to perform an A-Wing slash, which is something I personally hope makes it into the Sequel Trilogy. 

Hasbro should jump at the chance to give us another version of such a Star Wars luminary. Wedge is his X-Wing gear has appeared in the lineup three separate times.  A Snowspeeder Wedges is rumored so often that it seems like an inevitability.  Wedge in his general’s uniform was released in a Comic Pack with Borsk Fey’lya.  The duds he wears during the Thrawn Trilogy appear more “Star Warsy” than the garish general’s uniform, so it would certainly be an action figure worthy of consideration.
