3/10 Bantha Skulls

So we get a second version of Quinlan, the ever popular EU character.  This time, his Jedi clothes are tattered. He’s SA from the waist up, but from the waist down, he doesn’t have much going on (and I don’t mean it that way, you pervert).  He’s a decent looking figure, with a nice sculpt, and acceptable paint/weathering.  He has a holster which holds his pistol snugly.  He can hold his lightsaber or pistol pretty well in his hands.  I think I have my fill of this character.  Not a huge EU fan, but since he was at least mentioned in ROTS (and some think he is spotted in Mos Espa in TPM), it’s good he’s available.

Faie is basically a repaint of the TAC Kashyyyk trooper.  For some reason, Hasbro keeps repainting this figure in bizarre colors.  Faie’s camo looks nothing like the K-troop in the TAC line.  Of course there’s the odd camo clone that was packed with Yoda in the first round of Target Order 66 packs as well.  Anyway, the figure itself is a great sculpt (if a little short), the head is new, with a crewcut clone just like Faie is depicted in the comic.  Besides the odd paint, the biggest drawback with this figure is the removeable scout helmet.  It just seems oddly shaped and too large, making the figure a bit awkward looking.  Faie comes with a rifle, that he grips will in one or both hands.

Not the worst set, but definitely not very good.  Unless your a big fan of this particular comic, the original Vos and any K-Troop Clone will suit you fine.  For me, this is one of those sets that just doesn’t really bring much to the table.
