Major Variants

*First Day of Issue foil stickers were added to assortments of The Legacy Collection Wave 1 and The Clone Wars Wave 1 figures.  Each figure exists with and without the sticker.  Also, the “Star Wars” logo on the front of the FDOI cards has a metallic finish.

Notes
*Unlike The Legacy Collection which has codes for the numbering system (BD, GH, SL), The Clone Wars line is numbered simply:  No. 1, No. 2, etc…

5/10 Bantha Skulls

This figure would be okay except for the fact that he’s got no knees or ankles.  Additionally, my sample didn’t seem to have a proper center of balance, so I had to practically bend him 45 degrees backwards to get him to stand on his own.

Standing is a basic requirement for my figures.

His likeness is pretty true to the animated version of Anakin.  The paint is nice, with some good weathering.  This is a trait common to many of the animated figures so far.  His articulation is good from the hips up, but that’s it.

He comes with lots of accessories, mostly kid friendly.  A huge missile launcher works very well – better than many missiles built onto Hasbro vehicles.  He comes with a lightsaber and a…rope with handles thing.  Whatever.  I guess it works.

The face sculpt is good.

This figure, along with many of the animated styled figures, is made from a pretty soft plastic.  I’m not a fan.  The “skinny” sculpting also makes them seem extra flimsy.

Anyway, if you’re into the animated line, this is a decent addition.  I just don’t think these are as good as the realistic figures.
