8/10 Bantha Skulls
Hasbro finally released a movie version of this figure on a single card, so good stuff right off the bat.
When compared to his wave-mate, Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise, he has some odd differences. His weapon is pure black, which I like better than the weathered version Luke has. The canister from the back of his belt is lose, which makes it easy to lose. Han’s helmet is painted better than Luke’s on my sample. I don’t know if it’s isolated to mine, or if it happens across the run.
The blaster fits into the holster, but doesn’t really “lock” into place well, so it looks dumb. The face sculpt is very good, and I the paint job makes it excellent.
The trooper sculpt is very good, but very familiar. I notice that my samples of Han and Luke are very slightly different, so I’ll presume that the figures were struck from different tools.
This is a good figure. If you aren’t interested in sticking it to the man for pre-painting this figure years ago in sucky Marvel comic colors, than you should pick it up.
