It’s a good sculpt, even if it is a chess piece. This is a new movie character, so that automatically gives it lots of points in my book. I think the face sculpt makes her look very pretty, although you might say not much like the actress. The paint is good, the detail on the dress is excellent. The soft goods headdress works well and looks pretty good. She is super articulated from the waist up. From the waist down - nothing. Her legs are hidden under the skirt, but do not have any joints whatsoever. Your sample may have a little trouble standing if her feet are warped in any way, but mine worked pretty well. She doesn’t come with any accessories, but this makes sense. The only thing they might have included would be the baby leia accessory that came with Bail Organa in past releases.
It’s nice to look at, it’s a new figure, it’s from the movies. Not much action here, but if you make dioramas, and are looking to have all characters from the movies immortalized in plastic, this figure is for you. It also completes the adoptive parent subset for Luke and Leia, if you were keeping track of the entire “Skywalker” family.
